White Chocolate Creme Brulee

To prepare the vanilla bean, place it on a cutting board. Using a small, sharp knife, cut the bean in half lengthwise, then scrape the seeds from the bean with the knife tip. Both the seeds and the bean are added to the cream to infuse it with rich flavor.

Of the many things I love in this world, spending time with my kids and cooking top the list. This is a dessert my daughter and I have made several times and love it every time! I also recommend (even if just to satisfy your curiosity) the Lavender Creme Brulee.
Pros: Easy, Kid-Friendly, Appearance, Adaptable, Impressive, Will Make Again

I make this all the time and company! Everyone loves watching each other use the torch at the table to make their own.
Be sure to melt your Choc at low heat to keep the mixture smooth :)
Rasberries really do help balance the sweetness of the creme brulee.

This recipe was easy and delicious. I've never made creme brulee before and it was stress-free! I had to cook the brulee a little longer (about 40 min) but it came out wonderful! You'll know when its ready because you tap the side and if it jiggles like jello your done! I actually won a creme brulee cook off with it on Christmas Eve. A-Mazing! I do recommend buying the real vanilla beans from Williams-Sonoma. After I torched the top, I added shaved white and dark chocolate around the edges for decoration. It was beyond fabulous.
