Spinach Custard with Gruyere Topping

This healthy dish works equally well as a savory brunch offering and as a hearty vegetable side at dinner.

Oven Temperature Wrong: Use 330-350F
April 24, 2013
The Williams-Sonoma Essentials of Healthful Cooking: Recipes and Techniques for Wholesome Home Cooking cookbook has this exact recipe.
It states 165 Celsius and 180 Fahrenheit.
The 165 Celsius is correct and converts to about 330 Fahrenheit, but I baked it at 350 Fahrenheit, which is closer to what a quiche would bake at.
Pros: Yield, Quick, Easy, Healthy, Appearance, Will Make Again

Yummy Dish, but instructions don't work.
September 12, 2011
I found this recipe out of the Healthful Cooking cookbook. Although it is delicious, I thought something was wrong when after cooking for 30-35 minutes at the 180 degree temperature as instructed. It was still clearly uncooked. I had to raise the temperature and continue cooking until the egg was thoroughly cooked. Please fix this WS! This great tasting dish would have been better if it was cooked properly the first time.
Pros: Easy, Healthy, Will Make Again
Cons: Confusing, wrong temperature

Baking Temperature Incorrect
I agree with this review and would also request that Williams-Sonoma publish the recipe with the CORRECT baking temperature - please. After 35 minutes, I ended up backing the casserole in a 350-degree oven.
