Next time I would use dried/soaked beans, only use 1 clove of garlic and cut back on the roasting time. The beans and squash (substituted butternut for the pumpkin) were a little too mushy for my liking and the garlic overpowered everything else.

Very good recipe! I changed a few things out based on what I had in the house:
used grapeseed oil for the sauted onions, used 3 cups chicken broth because I added 1 1/2 cups of dry noodles to the dish before baking, used a large butternut squash, used only 1 garlic head, and only 2 cans of beans- IT TURNED OUT GREAT! HUSBAND LOVED IT! VERY SIMPLE AND DIDN'T TAKE VERY LONG! Served with some Artisian Italian Bread.
