Penne with Mushrooms and Turkey Sausage

Here, porcini mushrooms and sausage are combined to make a wonderful sauce for pasta. Begin the meal with a shaved fennel salad topped with extra-virgin olive oil and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.

Easy meal and tasty
July 9, 2016
I was craving Italian pasta meal. I found this on WS recipes and decided to make it for dinner. It was very good. I did not have dried porcini mushrooms so I left that out. I used half a large onion and added a shallot. I'm not a spicy hot fan so used sweet Italian pork sausage. Used shiitake and crimini mushrooms.I followed rest of the recipe. It turned out very delicious. I cooked the pasta al dente. Very good, will make again
Pros: Easy, Quick, Will Make Again

Tasty and easy

My husband and I loved this. Very easy, quick, and tasty. I forgot to get the dried mushrooms, so left those out. Also, I used the W&S mushroom broth instead of chicken, so I think both would work.
Pros: Quick, Easy, Adaptable, Will Make Again
