Oven-Crisped Chicken

Panko gives foods an extra-crunchy coating. It is bland, so sesame seeds and other seasonings provide a nice flavor boost here. Using aluminum foil placed directly on the oven rack, instead of a pan, helps the chicken brown better and cook through at the same time. The fine mist of cooking spray used to coat the chicken lets you make a great low-fat version of a fried favorite.

Tasty chicken
July 28, 2012
Very tasty. Everyone ate it up really fast. You can change the flavor of the breading by adding any spices you like instead of the onion powder. For crispiness wait 10 mins after the oven reaches desired temperature, before putting chicken in.

Good but not very crispy
January 4, 2012
This is a tasty recipe - the only thing is it did not crisp in the oven very well. Ended up putting it under the broiler for crispiness.
Pros: Easy, Healthy, Will Make Again
Cons: not crispy

Love it, Quick and Delicious

It is fantastic and better than fried because it is baked. Simple. A bit messy with the breadcrumbs and the suggested method of wrapping oven rack w/ aluminum foil.

Great week night meal that takes very little time to prepare. Is great as a standalone dish, however might be improved with some sort of dipping sauce.
