A Delicious, Unique Dessert for a Special Occasion

I made this recipe yesterday and am enjoying the fruits of my labor tonight. I followed the ingredients exactly. The only direction I adjusted was to skip the sieve. Although the gelato was very good on its own, it was absolutely luscious with the balsamic strawberries. NOTE: The effort required of this recipe would not be worth it without a premium EVOO and Balsamic. I own an olive oil company, so I used our Organic Greek EVOO. For the balsamic, I splurged on a high-end brand that had been aged for 12 years - its aroma & flavor are sweetly divine!
