Maple-Filled Pancakes

Maple butter, made by cooking and whipping pure maple syrup to a velvety consistency, is combined with chopped pecans to form a luscious filling for these pancakes. Add only the amount of filling specified in the recipe so it remains neatly contained inside the pancakes.

These maple cream filled pancakes are delicious - a reason to keep maple cream in the pantry! We make them on holidays and they are well worth the effort.

My family loves all of the recipes we have tried with our Ebelskeiver, but this is one of our favorites. Very good with candied pecans sprinkled over them.
