Green Beans with Pancetta and Pine Nuts

Pine nuts lend a sweet, rich flavor to this green bean dish. The seeds of pine trees, the nuts are nestled in the scales of the trees' cones. Because the nuts have a high fat content, they go rancid quickly, so be sure to store them in the refrigerator.

Easy and Delicious

These green beans were a great side dish. The pancetta and pine nuts certainly appealed to my Italian background and were wonderful additions to the green beans. Everyone enjoyed them, and I have served them to my family as well as to dinner guests.
