Crown Roast of Pork with Rosemary

Perfect for a celebratory gathering, a crown roast of pork is formed by tying the rib section into a circle. Here, we season the meat with a flavorful marinade that includes rosemary, mustard and garlic. The extra marinade becomes the basis for a delicious sauce.

Awesome Christmas Dinner!
December 27, 2010
This was so simple, yet so delicious!! Everyone was impressed with the outcome and I was pleased that I didn't have to waste all day in the kitchen. One thing to note - the marinade is not very "thick", so I was unable to scrape the excess marinade from the pork for the sauce. Thankfully, I reserved some and was able to make the sauce - which was what really set the dish off. This will be our new Christmas Dinner from now on!

Pre-Autumn Celebration "The Crown"
September 7, 2010
I made this just this past Sunday and it was very simple to make. It was juicy and very delicious, but the sauce, Ahhh! the sauce was just marvelous. Served it with new potatoes and some green beans and then with some great friends.
I must say that Williams-Sonoma has great recipes. This Christmas I will make the Crown Roast with Calava sauce.

This roast always has my family coming to the kitchen to let me know how much they are looking forward to this roast and how much longer they have to wait until it is done. Everyone LOVES it!
