Favorite Pound Cake

This cake looks beautiful and tastes devine, I received many compliments for it and have baked it several times. This is one of my choices to bake this week end for a Religious Party. I am helping with the desserts and several cakes on my list are from Williams-Sonoma and of course the cake pans too.

Lovely presentation

The cake looks beautiful baked in the intricate cathedral pan. It unmolded easily too. The coconut flavor could have have been more pronounced; it was a bit muted.
Easy to bake, it has the fine crumb of a good pound cake. I would bake it again, with more shredded coconut.
