Chilied Flank Steak

Flank steak, a flavorful but not-so-tender cut, benefits from an overnight stint in a marinade. Scoring the flank steak helps keep it from shrinking too much as it cooks. Top round, often sold as London broil, or skirt steak can be substituted for the flank steak.

Steak (and Shrimp) Marinade
September 25, 2011
This is a great easy recipe that a friend shared with me. Also consider substituting peeled uncooked shrimp for the steak. This has become a favorite for my family.
Pros: Good Value, Easy, Appearance, Adaptable, Will Make Again

Sweet Spicy flavor

I use a big thick London Broil for this recipe and it is really flavorfull. It's best when prepaired a day ahead and let it marinade for 24hrs. before grilling. It turns out tendre and juicy and has a very unique flavor.
