This recipe has turned into one of my go-to recipes in the fall and winter. It's so easy to make and tastes like it took hours to prepare . Sometimes, I add fresh minced garlic to the recipe. Definitely recommend!

I was hoping that this relatively un-glamorous recipe would be a quickie week night meal but it ended up taking a little bit longer than expected. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful take on a classic. Delicious and true to form. I highly recommend it!
