Cannelloni with Spinach and Pine Nuts

Pine nuts add a bit of crunch to this cannelloni filling. The seeds of pine trees, pine nuts are a rich nut with a sweet flavor. To toast them, place in a dry fry pan over medium heat and stir frequently until golden. Watch carefully because pine nuts burn easily.

Delicious and Simple
June 27, 2010
I made this with the addition of some sauteed leeks and garlic. It was delicious. Full flavored and filling without being too rich. My husband and I loved it and even my three year old and one year old seemed to like it a lot!
