Cajun Stew with Biscuits

To make your own Cajun spice mixture, mix together 3 Tbs. kosher salt, 1 Tbs. cayenne pepper, 1 Tbs. paprika, 2 Tbs. freshly ground black pepper, 1 tsp. chili powder and 1 Tbs. onion powder. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 months.

Not what was expected

I definitely was a little bummed at how little I liked this recipe. It had WAY too much tomato flavor. It took away the taste from all of the other vegetables and spices. It would have worked very well over white rice, even though I tried it with biscuits. I most likely wouldn't bother making it again.
