The Caesar salad enjoyed a major resurgence in popularity in the late 1980s, and the trend has continued to this day, with many restaurants offering one on their menus. This modern version addresses the health concerns a lot of people have about the traditional method of enriching the dressing with a coddled egg.

Not good as written

First of all, 4-5 minutes is not adequate time at all for browning the croutons. It took about 20 minutes for me, plus I increased the heat to medium low after the first 5 minutes.
The dressing was terrible when the recipe was followed exactly. It tasted like straight olive oil. I added an extra tablespoon of yogurt and about 2 extra tablespoons of parmesan.
