Buttermilk Waffles

Enjoy these waffles on their own, drizzled with your favorite syrup, or transform them into a luxurious brunch dish, Waffle Napoleons with Raspberry Cream (see related recipe at right). For that recipe, you will need to cook heart-shaped waffles.

The best waffles!
January 15, 2013
This is my go to recipe for waffles. They are quick, easy and delicious. Since there is only 2 of us there is sometimes batter left over and the waffles are just as good the next day. Try this recipe, you will not be disappointed!
Pros: Easy, Will Make Again

Easy and Yummy!
June 11, 2011
Very light and fluffy. Rich flavor with the butter and vanilla. Just served with syrup, but would be VERY good with fruit and cream. Ended up making a second batch after my family gobbled up the first one. My 11 yr old son basically made the second batch himself after helping with the first. Easy to make!
Pros: Quick, Easy, Kid-Friendly, Will Make Again

Sunday Morning Favorite
March 27, 2011
This is a staple recipe in my house on the weekends! No need to sift the flour and separate the eggs, just add all ingredients to one bowl and mix well. Perfect every time, I also sometimes use almond extract as a substitute for the vanilla. Yum!
Pros: Quick, Good Value, Easy, Kid-Friendly, Appearance, Adaptable, Impressive, Will Make Again
Cons: Unhealthy
