Brussels Sprout and Arugula Salad with Walnuts

Walnut oil has a rather short shelf life, only 6 to 8 months. To forestall spoilage, check the date of the pressing on the label to make sure the oil is fairly fresh and store it in the refrigerator.

Easy and Delicious
July 2, 2012
I may be biased since brussell sprouts and arugula are two of my favorite things. Together in this recipe they are in perfect balance. I've made this several times and it is always well received. I boil my sprouts in apple cider and thinly slice them before tossing with the dressing for an added flavor profile.
Pros: Quick, Easy, Adaptable
