Apple Tart

The apples are left unpeeled in this rustic tart. Brushing the finished tart with jam just before serving adds a glistening glaze to the fruit.

Simple and delicious!

I have tried this recipe several times over the past year with the exception of using pears instead of apples. The recipe calls for very few ingredients and is incredibly simple to make. The end result is a delicious, just perfectly sweetened tart that looks like it came from a fancy bakery. To turn it into a pear tart I simply slice three ripe pears and mix the third cup of sugar with the pears before putting into the shell (as opposed to sprinkling the sugar on top). Delicious with home made whipped cream.
Pros: Quick, Easy, Kid-Friendly, Adaptable, Impressive, Will Make Again

Simple, quick, and delicious

We made this tart along with the freeform Apple Tart. I enjoyed both tarts very much. This tart is quicker to make seeing you don’t have to make the tart shell itself. Instead you are using puff pastry. I am torn between the freeform Apple Tart and this one as they both are delicious. We made an extra one of these to keep at home. Am I glad we did! Honestly this was a very easy recipe and a very delicious recipe. Très bon!

Quick Weeknight Dessert

Very good apple tart, easy to make and quick. I use ripe granny smith apples and more than the recipe calls for . It is sweet , healthy and the crust is flaky and buttery . Just the right amount for after dinner.
