Perfect resource for the beginning city farmer
January 4, 2013
This book covers everything one needs to know to successfully farm in the city from composting to Gardening, pests to pets and everything between. I have learned more than I imagined, and have a resource I will be referring to for many years to come. I was surprised by the detail provided in each section, and it has really laid out a very detailed idea of what the city farm can, and does, entail. I live in down town area in my city, and already have chickens. We moved in just over a year ago, and I have really become passionate about the possibilities of an urban farm. Starting from scratch, this book provides all the info I need to start a garden this year, and consider other sustainable options for my farm. It's an exciting venture, and the excitement has grown from reading this book. I highly recommend to anyone interested in urban farming.
