Wusthof Precision Santoku Knife

Williams-Sonoma worked closely with legendary German knife-maker Wusthof to bring you kitchen knives like no other. The flowing, dynamic lines of our innovative Wusthof Precision collection give the knives a bold, contemporary look, while the seamless transition from handle to bolster to blade results in maximum comfort during use. High-carbon stainless-steel blades and a double-bolster design deliver professional-level performance and satisfying heft. With its relatively flat cutting edge and signature "sheep's foot" point, the santoku is a popular Asian-style alternative to the traditional chef's knife. Double-bolster design provides exceptional balance and precision. Bolster's smooth transition from handle to blade allows for an unlimited variety of cutting grips. Precision forged from a single piece of sturdy high-carbon steel that resists stains and corrosion. Wusthof's Precision Edge Technology (PEtec) creates a remarkably sharp blade with superior edge retention. Slightly oversized blade design provides plenty of power for fast, efficient cutting. Beautifully contoured, ergonomic handle is made of a durable, moisture-resistant synthetic. In its seventh-generation of family ownership, Wusthof has been making some of the finest kitchen cutlery in the world since 1814. 7"-long blade. Made in Germany. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

You owe t to yourself!

I have this knife and I love it! I love the way your knuckles naturally fit against the side of the wide blade. I’m not the best at “knife skills”, but the way it fits my hand and the natural “rocking motion” of the blade make me look and feel like a pro. What a beautiful pleasure to own and use.......
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Balance, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Strength, Versatile, Sharpness, Shape, Weight, beautiful

Incredible Knife
June 21, 2013
This knife is absolutely one of the best knives I've ever used. The feel of the handle and balance of the blade make it a pleasure to use. As with all Wüsthof knives, the blade is razor sharp and cuts most items like the proverbial hot knife through butter. I haven't found the hollow-ground blade to prevent sticking all that much, but it hasn't been a problem. Williams-Sonoma's exclusive handle design really make this knife a cut above the rest.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Balance, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Strength, Versatile, Sharpness, Shape, Weight
Cons: food clings to blade
