The Go-To Knife
May 17, 2011
Slowly over the years i've upgraded all my kitchen electrics to the best of WS. And now the pies-de-resistance is my Hollow-Ground Chef Knife. Besides a couple paring knives...this is the knife i use for everything in the short time i've had it. I tossed out my mediocre 8" chef and replaced it with this in my knife block. The handle feels like it was molded for my hand, and its so smooth to chop with. But it was a close call between shun(which was lighter, and had a slimmer handle). Please if you are having any trouble choosing, the only way is to actually try them both out at the store on the chopping block. Even then it was a hard decision, but ultimately i believe my chopping style is more suited to the traditional style knives.
I'm interested to see how long the edge lasts till i have to get it professionally sharpened.

Heightens the culinary experience

Outstanding quality and craftsmanship, an absolute pleasure to use. There are two ways to get to your destination, you can take public transportation, or you can drive a Rolls. They'll both get you there, but if you really enjoy all aspects of the culinary experience, not just the eating part, then you'll want to enjoy the ride.
