Nicely made, but not what I was looking for either
May 23, 2012
Okay, so the other reviewer who said this was terrible and cheaply made was not accurate in my opinion. This ladle has a lovely shine to it, is well-balanced and feels good in your hand. I really liked the fact that this ladle is made in Germany instead of China like the All-Clad one also! However, I ordered it and though I did notice and want the nice big 6 oz. bowl, I failed to notice that the handle is only 11 3/4" long. The All-Clad is 14+ inches long--quite a difference in length considering the bowl size is the same on the two ladles...So, if you are looking for a quality, shorter-handled ladle, this one is very nice and well-made. If you intend to dig for all the goodies at the bottom of your 20 qt. soup pot without burning your hand, this is not the ladle for you!
Pros: Durable, Quality, Easy to Clean, Design, Weight
Cons: handle length

WMF Profi Plus Soup Ladle
March 27, 2012
I ordered 3 ladles for my grown children and was very unhappy with them. They felt very cheap. I have the all clad soup ladle which I'm very happy with and my suggestion would be to spend the extra $4 per ladle and buy the all clad one.
Cons: Quality
