Incredible Shrinking Potholder
January 27, 2015
I've purchased many potholders from WS over the years for myself and gifts. Never have I had a potholder shrink and shrivel up like this one did upon one washing. I washed with other WS potholders at the same time and they kept their shape and size. I don't think I can use anymore because it shrunk so small I won't be able to grip hot pans well enough. What a disappointment. What makes it worse I bought two sets of the same, just a different color.
Cons: Strength, Quality, durability, Assembly, Fragile, Unreliable

Very good, but...

This potholder is affordable, very substantial and well-made. I like the pocket where you can put your hand to protest it when reaching in the oven, say, for a hot item. It is thick enough to be protective, particularly if you use the double thickness. The only drawback is that they made one outer side out of the beige cotton terry cloth used on the inside. I would have preferred that side to be covered by the same twill as the front side (that you can see in pictures). Terry will stain and more easily pick up dirt.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Weight
Cons: fabric design
