Williams-Sonoma Saute Simmer Sauce

Get dinner on the table in a flash with our flavorful sauces, inspired by classic European dishes. To create a delicious meal in minutes, just simmer the sauce with chicken or seafood, adding vegetables if desired. Lemon Caper is a combination of tangy lemon, dry white wine and shallots with roasted garlic, sweet caramelized onion and a dash of red pepper. Artichoke pecorino simmer sauce
July 6, 2013
I have always been satisfied with the WS braising and simmer sauces and was looking forward to trying the Artichoke Pecorino simmer sauce. What a disappointment! This has to be the saltiest unbalanced product out there. Additionally, the presentation was absolutely unappetizing. WS really missed on this one.
Cons: Disappointing, Flavor

Amazing sauce, amazing shelf life!
September 21, 2012
I purchased the lemon caper saute simmer sauce after receiving a birthday gift card in November of 2011. September of 2012 I FINALLY get around to cleaning out my pantry and lo and behold, I found this! I've never used Williams Sonoma sauces before so I honestly didn't know what to expect. WOW - it was AMAZING! I took thin sliced chicken breast, topped with slices of prosciutto, grilled each side then poured the sauce on top. Followed the jar directions and 10 minutes later out popped this AMAZING chicken. I can't wait to get more. The savings alone from buying this jar instead of item by item it would take to make it is totally worth the price!
Pros: Easy to Prepare, Authentic, Quality, Good for Entertaining, Decadent, Flavor
