Williams-Sonoma Pulled Chicken Starter

Inspired by the legendary flavors of Kansas City and Texas-style barbecue, our starter makes it quick and easy to enjoy chicken with authentic, slow-smoked character. We slow-simmer our sauce in small batches, blending vine-ripened tomatoes, molasses and a splash of apple cider vinegar with smoky chilies, garlic and peppery spices. Just combine the sauce with chicken in a slow cooker or Dutch oven, and serve on freshly baked buns. 28 oz. Made in USA. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Deeelicious

I sampled the Pulled Chicken Starter in a local Williams-Sonoma store and it was so tasty that I decided to buy it on the spot. (Good marketing tactics at the store. )
I followed what the staff in the local store did; using boneless, skinless chicken thighs. I also followed the recipe on the jar and used my Staub Cast-Iron Cocotte (a previous Williams-Sonoma purchase). It was so easy to cook and so delicious.
This sauce has a great smoky barbeque flavor with a little spicy kick. It's one of the best sauces I have ever had.
Even the picky eaters in my family loved this dish. Leftovers were gone pretty quickly.
I highly recommend this sauce to anyone who likes bbq.
Pros: Quality, Amount, Flavor, Time-saver, Easy to Prepare

Yum Yum Yum this was good

I put 3 full boneless skinless chicken breasts in a Le Creuset and poured the bottle of sauce over it. Then I put a little water into the jar and put the lid back on and shook it up to get every last drop of sauce out of the bottle and poured it over the chicken. I sliced an onion and laid it on top and baked the whole thing for about 2 hours on 325 F. You could serve it pulled or whole on buns or a plate. It was delicious! Don't overcook or your chicken breasts could be dry.
Pros: Easy to Prepare, Quality, Time-saver, Flavor

Just as good as the pork

We've used the pulled pork starter several times and this is just as good. Love it!
