Williams-Sonoma Pound Cake Mix

Bake a luscious pound cake with an exceptionally light, tender crumb that's as decadently rich as the best made-from-scratch cakes-it's easy with our premium mixes. Vanilla: Makes a rich, buttery cake with bits of Madagascar vanilla bean. Marble: Yields a beautiful cake with swirls of creamy vanilla and dark chocolate. Meyer Lemon: Bakes into a tangy lemon cake balanced with the flavor of pure vanilla. Each makes a 4-by-8-inch loaf cake. 1 lb. 0.9 oz.-1 lb. 1.5 oz. Made in USA. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

I have tried all of the pound cake mixes and all I can say is that the vanilla was amazing. I had to say the mix was pretty small compared to other companies' stuff but the taste was the best by far. Everybody in my family loved it. Best. Mix. Ever.
Pros: Texture, Easy to Prepare, Quality, Time-saver, Decadent, Flavor, Great Gift
Cons: Amount

Williams-Sonoma Meyer Lemon Pound Cake Mix
October 12, 2013
I found this cake mix to be overly sweet, and requiring too much butter (for a small amount of mix). The cake baked beautifully, but was entirely too sweet, and greasy. Others may find this mix "just right" for them, but for me, it was too sweet. The lemon taste was not as prevalent as in the past. Was the recipe changed? The mix in the yellow box from the past had more of a lemon taste, and was not quite as sweet. Thanks
Pros: Easy to Prepare, Time-saver
Cons: Disappointing, Texture, Flavor
