I love this measuring cup
February 10, 2014
This measuring cup has the measurements in ounces instead of portions of a cup, however, it's not difficult to determine the conversion. (8oz=1cup, 1T= 1 ounce, etc) and it's more accurate.
One reason I like this so much is the silicone lid which is useful if you are not using all the liquid right away. I really like the thin glass which is tempered and is lightweight rather than heavy and clunky, such as in other products. I sometimes use it for making loose leaf tea and can get 2 -3 cups of tea - perfect for the cold weather!
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Accuracy, Quality, Time-saver, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Versatile, Design, Weight, lidded

No Standard Measurements?
January 15, 2014
Why would anyone design a measuring cup that has none of the usual 1/2, 1/4, 1/3, 2/3 cup measurements and only shows ounces in increments of 5 and 10? Almost useless unless you already know the conversion from ounces and are willing to do the math. The glass seems awfully thin and easily breakable. Better to stick with good old Pyrex or Oxo.
Cons: Fragile, poorly designed
