Williams-Sonoma Heirloom Grain Sides

Our rustic stuffing mixes capture all the hearty goodness of whole grains. We've carefully chosen each blend to create the perfect balance of color, taste and texture. Seasoned with aromatic herbs, our naturally gluten-free mixes are great with both poultry and meats. Red Rice & Quinoa combines heirloom red rice with Peruvian quinoa - an ancient grain with a delicate flavor and high protein content. We bring out their natural flavors with a classic blend of herbs, including sage, thyme, garlic and marjoram. Green Lentils & Pecan Rice partners pecan rice, nutty brown rice and French green lentils with a trio of wild mushrooms including shiitake, porcini and boleto. Golden raisins and mission figs add a hint of sweetness, highlighted by shallots, green peppercorns, lemon and herbs. Toasted Fregola Pasta & Wild Rice is a blend of quinoa, wild rice, wheat pearls, red rice and toasted fregola - a Sardinian semolina pasta similar to Israeli couscous. Sage, basil, garlic, sun-dried tomato and lemon give our mix its classic Mediterranean flavor. Red Rice & Quinoa Stuffing Mix, 12.5 oz.; Green Lentils & Pecan Rice Stuffing Mix, 13.2 oz.; Toasted Fregola Pasta & Wild Rice Stuffing Mix, 12.9 oz. Made in USA. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Quinoa, Red Rice & Cranberries
October 15, 2012
A couple friends and I attended a WS cooking class this past weekend and had this grain mix stuffed into acorn squash. The quinoa on it's own was a little bland for me, but with the squash it was really good. They also added chopped almond which was good too and I don't like nuts.
Will be picking a box of this up next week to use at Thanksgiving.
Pros: Quality, Good for Entertaining, Healthy

Herbed Quinoa and red rice stuffing
October 17, 2011
I bought this product and I thought to was very yummy. I eat quinoa regularly and I loved the addition of the red rice. This is more of a side dish than an actual stuffing. Tips: One, Don't bake it in the oven...just omit that step and it's very moist. Two use EVOO instead of butter.
Pros: Good for Entertaining

Fantastic and Easy to make
October 17, 2011
This is the best quiona I have ever had. It is not a traditional stuffing mix. If you like quiona for the health benefits you will love this mix. Even my pickey children enjoyed it.
Pros: Easy to Prepare, Flavor, Healthy

disappointing
October 13, 2011
Fall would not be complete without a trip to Williams-Sonoma. This stuffing was my first disappointment; my family wouldn't eat it. Lucky I had some of their regular Foccacia close at hand. First W-S product complaint from my family.
Cons: Disappointing, Texture, smell, Flavor

Nothing Stuffing about it
October 5, 2011
Disappointed in this one. While it says stuffing on the box there's nothing stuffing about it. It's more-or-less a baked rice dish and relatively bland. Would prefer two portions in the box to make to 8x8 pans rather than one large 9x13 which is A LOT of side dish.
Pros: Healthy
Cons: Disappointing, Flavor
