Cute Hostess Gift

This would make a cute Hostess gift for a Halloween party, but I wouldn't recommend buying because you had a hankering for sour Halloween themed candy - Jelly Belly makes a far superior product on that front. The thing that got me with this one (I got the Sour Bats) was the adorable packaging - as a Halloween fanatic, I would have been giddy to receive this as a Hostess gift. The candy itself is still good - it has a pleasant flavor, it just isn't as good as other confections out there.

Adult Halloween Candy

I had the orange pumpkins. They are delicious with a very nice orange flavor. Also tried the candy corn, which was almost marshmallow-like consistency. Ok, but the orange pumpkins are better!

Disappointing!!

This year, I bought two of the candy corn. WS has offered this candy in the past, but it came in a different container. I was so excited about the cute packaging this year!
But now, I'm soooo disappointed.:( The candy at the top of the bottle tasted and smelled like the cork topper. It was awful and I had to spit it out!! I know the product is good, but not enough research went into the packaging and it has ruined the taste of the wonderful candy!!
I don't know if the rest of the candy in the bottle also has the bad taste, I haven't tried it yet. I will probably return the product and get the pink and white puffs from Fiona's at WS. It is basically the same candy, everyone loves it, and it comes in glass jars with metal lids. Always a great treat.
Please change your packaging next year WS for this product! Disappointing!

Yes the smell and taste was VERY STRONG. I also think it's the cork..very cut container but can not eat the candy. I was also very disappointed in the item as well as WS as they should have found this fault and pulled this item.
