Great Tasting Gluten Free Quick Bread
March 25, 2014
I usually make from scratch but wanted to make a treat for my gluten sensitive niece. This came out great. The texture was like a dense pound cake. The flavor was not too sweet with a fresh lemon flavor and crunchy poppy seeds. This was very easy to make but for sure you'll need a mixer to incorporate the butter; and be prepared for a different looking batter since there is no wheat flour. It's almost like a thick paste that does not look appetizing but keep at it; the end result looks good and it's delicious.
Pros: Texture, Easy to Prepare, Quality, Good for Entertaining, Time-saver, Flavor
