Celebrate the season with homemade ice cream in a favorite holiday flavor: rich eggnog flavored with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Simply mix our all-natural starter with heavy cream and half-and-half, pour into your ice cream maker, and freeze. Wait until after Christmas to buy!

Have not tried it yet but good and does not expire for over a year. Price was cut in half right after Christmas. So wait and buy a year in advance. Worth it!

As with all other Williams Sonoma ice cream starters, the consistency is great, but the eggnog taste is weak and the nutmeg flavor is over-powering.
Pros: Texture, Easy to Prepare
Cons: Disappointing, Flavor

Is it icecream or waffle mix

This is an odd review for me. I really thought this would be good and in a way it is. I have never had eggnogg to drink but every year they come out with the waffle mix for WS I do buy it because it is so rich and good. I have to say this icecream mix is the same way and it tastes alot like the waffle mix so I sort of feel like I am eatting raw waffle mix so with that it was good but will not buy again.
Pros: Easy to Prepare, Time-saver, Decadent
Cons: Flavor
