Williams Large Martini Glass, Set of 4
Our classic stemware holds a generous serving of the perfect martini and other special treats. The large size is ideal for a double martini or Manhattan, or use it to serve shrimp cocktail or a refreshing sorbet. Both sizes elegantly present frappes and other iced drinks. Each is hand blown of crystalline glass. We recommend washing by hand. The small glass is 4.7-oz. cap., 6 1/4" high" high; the large is 10-oz. cap., 7 1/2" high. Set of four. Made in Turkey. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Huge glasses for the discerning guzzler.

I've searched far and wide for "standard" 4.5 oz cocktail glasses like you find in good bars, not so large that your drink warms up before you can consume it. Despite it being the industry standard, glasses don't seem to be available for home use, and I wasn't interested in ordering a case of 36. I was delighted when I found these glasses and ordered the "small" size. I figured 4.7 oz was close enough. Upon receiving the glasses I measured them, and they measure out to 6 oz. Most cocktails, martinis, manhattans, etc. have 3oz or less of booze in them. A proper pour in these glasses looks pretty anemic. Wish they were actually the size they were advertised as. Other than that they seem very well made.

I am a classic gin Martini guy, and I keep a couple of these in my freezer at all times. They are just the right size and are a delight to sip an ice-cold Martini from.

A bit large

The glasses are gorgeous and fun to hold. I wish I would have realized, however, that they are only full when filled with about 6 ounces of vodka and another couple of vermouth of whatever else. It takes a lot of liquor for it to look filled up. Also if you keep it in the freezer it'll take up a lot of space. I'd get the smaller one next time.
