White Shallot Balsamic Vinegar

The delicate flavors of fresh shallots mingle with soft fruity and floral notes, imbuing this golden balsamic condiment with a complex character all its own. Crafted in Modena, Italy, it begins with the pure wine must (unfermented grape juice) of white Trebbiano grapes, slowly simmered in traditional open vats. The reduction is combined with an older white wine vinegar to speed fermentation, then aged in oak barrels. Infused with shallots, the aged vinegar is delicious in vinaigrettes, pan sauces and marinades. Excellent for drizzling

This is an absolutely delicious balsamic vinegar with shallots. It really only takes a drizzle over vegetables to give them a new twist. I served fresh green beans that I lightly sautéed in very little olive oil and drizzled the shallot white balsamic vinegar over them and gave them a quick toss. Everyone raved about the flavor.
I will always keep this on my oil and vinegar shelf.
