Waterford Merrill Stemware

Sleek and graceful, this contemporary Waterford stemware pattern lends elegance and sparkle to any table setting - classic to modern and casual to formal. Hand cut in a brushstroke pattern, the fully leaded crystal should be hand washed only to maintain its sparkle and clarity. Carrying on the company's tradition of producing fine crystal since 1783, Waterford's master artisans hand blow and cut each glass before etching it with the Waterford seahorse logo, adapted from the Waterford City coat of arms. Each of the four shapes is suited to a specific drink: white wine, red wine, Champagne and iced beverages. Wineglass, 6-oz. cap., 8 1/4" high. Flute, 5-oz. cap., 9 1/4" high. Goblet, 8-oz. cap., 8 3/4" high. Iced beverage glass, 11-oz. cap., 8 1/4" high. Made in Europe. Sold individually.

Perfect Gift

I ordered a pair of Waterford Merrill flutes as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law who are sparkling-wine aficionados. They immediately acknowledged receipt with profuse thanks. My daughter-in-law is appreciative of the quality of Waterford crystal because she has toured one of their manufacturing facilities. My son admires leaded crystal because it supports the subtle flavors of sparkling wines. I like the Merrill design because the stem is sturdy. I like the Waterford brand because its crystal is entirely hand-made.
Pros: beautiful
Cons: delicate
