A natural for stir-fries and fajitas, this Kobe-style flank steak from Oregon-based Yamaya is so amazingly tender and flavorful, we like it best with little more than a dash of salt and pepper. Total Disappointment

The description said that this steak would weigh 3 pounds. However, after I removed 1/4 pound of fat, which was concentrated 1/4+ inch deep in several places, the steak I received weighed 1.8 pounds, making the effective cost per pound nearly $33. The steak was flavorful and semi-tender, but in NO WAY worth $33 per pound. It should have been trimmed better and weighed close to the 3 pounds promised. I'm totally disapppointed and slightly angry. I would never recommend this steak unless W-S gives the supplier feedback on providing full weight and much less fat in the future.

This flank steak was incredible. I marinated it with a ginger soy marinade and cooked it on the grill, medium rare. One of the best flank steaks we've ever had, very tender, juicy and flavorful. I'm going to order more for the summer grilling season.
