It's very difficult these days to find a breadbox. I think the price is a little high but it's exactly what I wanted. It has plenty of room for all the breads, rolls, anything a family would want. The wood is very sleek as are the lines of the bread box. I would recommend this to anyone.

Tuscany Bread Box

Looks great on the kitchen counter. Keeps bread fresh longer. Homemade bread stays moist. It's big enough to hold one "store bought" loaf of bread and 2 packages of hamburger and/or hot dog buns.

Clean look and functional

I have been searching for a nice wood bread box to coordinate with the Tuscan look in my kitchen. I like my counters pretty clear and this was the best option I found. It's not too large so with that said it holds two loaves of standard bread loaves and a few rolls (on top of loaves).
The reason I gave it 4 stars vs. 5 is because for the price I paid for it the entire product could have been made of acacia wood. Note the inside floor and back of product are made of plywood. Since mine goes against the wall I could live with it, otherwise it would have been returned. Also, if you look carefully the areas where the sides were nailed are slightly visible. I'm keeping it because I have not found anything else out there at a reasonable price in wood. I have not utilized the lid as a cutting board. Don't know if I will.
