Looks great on dark wood dining table
April 16, 2013
I'm using the runner with white Boutis placemats, nito chargers, and the napkins that match, along with the new Rustic style melamine plates, in white. It's a great look, and the runner is not overly ethnic. Usually I don't buy the exact items shown in a catalog or on a webpage, but I admit that this time I did, and am very pleased with the look. Do give a look to the white Rustic plates, wonderfully versatile, I wish they had salad sizes. Looks great with this fabric. I don't mind ironing, and plan to treat the runner and napkins with some care in the wash, they'll keep their shape better.

Hi Northkona!
I absolutely agree with you and don't typically re-create things I see in catalogs but in this case I did the same thing! I use the La Med salad plates with the Nito chargers and dark blue rustic plates and I just love them! What color Boutis placemats did you buy? I was looking at the color options and not sure which color worked best with this runner?
Thanks!
