My family and I have never tasted a pecan tart like this before. We could not stop eating it! One bite was all it took to convince us that this was the best! We froze it upon receipt (after wrapping it tightly in heavy AL foil.) Two weeks later we thawed it. After it came to room temperature we ate the first slices. My fears of the crust being soggy after freezing and thawing were unfounded. It was still crisp. The caramel is delightfully creamy with just the right amount. It does not overwhelm the other tastes. It also does not attemp to loosen or remove dental work in your mouth! One more thing--it looked exactly as pictured. A knockout in presentation!
