Sweet Lauren Cakes Easter Cake Pops
Two varieties of imaginative cake pops make delectable and whimsical springtime treats. Handmade at the artisanal bakery Sweet Lauren Cakes in San Francisco, each one starts with moist, baked-from-scratch cake that is broken into crumbs and then rolled with fluffy cream cheese frosting. The pops are then hand-dipped in tinted white chocolate to create a delectable shell and individually wrapped and tied with colorful ribbon. Our Easter-inspired designs are available in two flavors: bright yellow chicks made with vanilla cake and colorful Easter eggs prepared with tangy lemon cake. Each set of six pops is packed in a gift box that doubles as a serving stand. Set of six, all of one design (Chicks or Easter Eggs) 2" diam., 8" tall (including stick). Made in USA.

I saw Lauren and her Easter cake pops last weekend at the W-S Artisan Market in San Francisco. The chicks and eggs were adorable, and the cake itself was delicious. I'll definitely be getting more of these for Easter!

Arrives melted

The easter eggs arrived ok - slightly melted, but presentable, but half of the chicks were so melted as to be unrecognizable. Very disappointing, and not worth the expensive price.

update to above review
After posting the review, above, the owner of Sweet Lauren Cakes contacted me and apologized for the presentation of the chicks. Not only did she send me a replacement batch, but her company has changed its delivery procedures to prevent this happening again to other customers. I was extremely impressed with the company and the customer service, and just received the replacement batch today. They arrived in perfect condition, are absolutely adorable, and taste fantastic!! I highly recommend. Now I give it 5 stars.
