Staub Round Gratin Baking Dish
Whether used for berry cobblers or macaroni & cheese, this cast-iron French favorite is adept at coaxing crispy brown crusts or toppings. Its rich enameled finish and elegant design allow it to travel straight from oven to table. Matte Black selection features multi-coat enameling with low-gloss matte finish. Resistant to rust, chipping and cracking, the coating requires no additional seasoning like some other cast-iron pieces. The specially formulated black matte interior enamel of each piece contains traces of quartz, giving it additional heat resistance and a rougher surface resulting in better browning. The smooth enameled base is compatible with all cooktops including induction. Made in France.

Not color basil other I have but use those for guests anyway. This just arrived, imagine egg white breakfasts perfect for cheese english muffin n other quick, small on the go. Will work any cooktop n oven too. Small dishes like stuffed or sweet potato bake, few shrimp, or apples, small cobbler or griled cheese-why bring out huge, bulky cookware. I have a cast iron pan grabber that should work well with it if hot.

Nice piece of cookware

This frying pan is great. It has the quality of cast iron but not the weight or care. My only regret was not getting a large enough size.

Great Pan for small recipes

I purchased this for small casseroles and immediately used it to make a small scalloped potato dish for 2. Exactly the right size and the potatoes came out better than ever. Highly recommend this especially for anyone living alone as the size is perfect for 1 or 2 people.
