Staub Cast-Iron Bakers

Staub's innovative enamel coating takes cast-iron cooking to the next level with improved performance, style and durability. These versatile bakers have wide cooking surfaces and high sides, making them a natural choice for preparing casseroles, lasagnas and cobblers. Heavyweight enameled cast iron transfers and retains heat evenly. Multicoat enameling creates a glossy, vibrantly colored "majolique" finish that resembles fine ceramics. Resistant to rust, chipping and cracking, the coating requires no additional seasoning like some other cast-iron pieces. The specially formulated black matte interior enamel of each piece contains traces of quartz, giving it additional heat resistance and a rougher surface resulting in better browning. The smooth enameled base is compatible with all cooktops including induction. Dishwasher safe. Made in France.

The best of the best!

This is the best baker to have in your kitchen! You can cook your dish on the stovetop or grill, then transfer to the oven, then turn on the broiler - then serve in it. I bought the smallest one and will definitely add more when I can afford them. It's heavy, no doubt about that, as cast iron always is, but the generously sized handles make for easy maneuvering. Clean up is breeze - just soak for a little while and it comes out spotless. I store mine on its long side, along the sidewall of a cabinet, so it takes up very little room. Love it!
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Durable, Versatile, Design, Quality, Size, Weight, Easy to Store, Shape

so glad I bought these

Love both sizes. Roasting anything, meats, potatoes veggies. I haven't used my glass bakers since.
They have nice high sides too.
love, love anything Staub.
Just wish these came in Blue as I have over 12 Staub pieces and I display them and use them as decoration. Just set on a simple cast iron bakers rack, they look amazing.

I *despise* hand-washing pots & pans!

And, yet, I have a kitchen FULL of Staub products that I use every single day. Yes. Every, single day. What does that tell you? This is a perfect size and lends itself well if having a ridiculous amount of left-overs is as unpopular in your house as it is in mine.
I highly recommend Staub's trivets, which have magnets inside them, for extra-easy access from oven to table.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Size, Shape
