Wedding gift return due to poor quality

I registered for these and received them as a wedding gift. The sizes and ability to nest was appealing. Unfortunately after I opened the box it was obvious they were made of a lower grade steel and seemed cheap, even though they weren't very inexpensive. The base was warped and you could tell the mesh would be able to snap off the frame easily. They also have so many points of contact/soldering they will likely rust quickly especially here in Florida. I got another off brand one as a shower gift that expands to rest across the sink that is much better. They're going to be returned for a nice gift card.

Cons: Quality, will likely rust

Like but not love

We've had these for 2 years and they have done very well. Dishwasher seems to clean them easily. One of our handles just broke off though. It is the medium size that we use the most and it is rather disappointing. But I would still recommend them overall.

These colanders went back. They had some oily residue on them that must have been missed in quality control.
Also, with the 4 upright wires they looked like they would be hard to clean.

Poor quality

I have an older trio of these that I bought from Williams Sonoma years ago that I love and I thought that these would be an updated model with handles that mine don't have. I was wrong. They are so poorly made that they don't sit flat on the counter. I returned them for a refund.

So useful for making homemade Salsa

Love, love this product. I make my own homemade Salsa and need to strain the tomatoes before adding as the final ingredient. These sit nicely in all sizes of pots and, it sits up so when draining the tomatoes, it can sit in the sink as opposed to using another dish to rest it on like the handled colanders. Also love the fact its stainless...GREAT BUY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Just purchased yesterday! Already used to rinse strawberries! So far so good. Easily cleaned. I hand washed when I brought them home but look forward to putting them in the dishwasher. I purchased because I wanted different sizes and wanted them to nest for storage. Great price point. I already have an All-Clad large colander, but wanted these so that things wouldn't slip through the holes.

A Necessary Kitchen Set

Excellent quality and versatile sizes. I replaced my 15 year old WS set with these and they are excellent. Even small particles release from the mesh easily when hit with the sink spray or in the dishwasher.

larger than what I expected but so far I have used 2 of them and they worked very well. I thought they might be a little difficult to clean but they cleaned quite well. They fit well into other pots when you are straining liquids. I am very happy with them

A Great Set

Tired of capellini sliding out through the holes of my old colander, I decided it was time to go mesh. I love the variety of sizes and that they nest (a big plus in my small kitchen!). They feel more durable than other mesh colanders I've looked at, too. They get heavy use and thus far show no wear.

The worst tool in my kitchen

I bought these because they are stainless steel, but I did not realize how UNfunctional these colanders are! I have had these colanders for several years and each time I use them I curse under my breath. Food gets stuck between the mesh and the vertical braces. They are VERY HARD TO CLEAN. You can't just rinse easily and set aside to dry when you are in the middle of cooking. I end up having to push the mesh in so that I can get at the food particles out. I wish I could trade these in for the other stainless steel colanders but I spent more than I wanted to on colanders and I bought them too long ago to return. Worse item I ever bought for my kitchen.

Just What I've Been Searching For

The stainless steel nesting colander set replaced an old plastic colander I had that finally wore out. The set is great because I have three different sizes now, they only take up the storage space of the one that I had before, and they wash well in the dishwasher. I use all three sizes constantly, and I have been pleased with their convenience and sturdiness.

Decent colanders

These are decent colanders. I love that they stack and I like the sizes that they come in and the handles are a nice touch. What I dont like is that mine had little pieces of wire that were not trimmed so it poked me everytime I grabbed it at that position. I ended up solving that problem by tucking the wire pieces under the metal rim. The other thing that I dont particularly like is the un-refined look of the pieces.

Sturdy Strainers

For some reason I failed to notice the support wires of the strainers until I received them. I wasn't sure if this would make them difficult to clean. But they are nice enough to keep on the counter (filled with fruit) and I appreciate the practical quality.

Nice Colanders - but not "fine mesh"

I bought these colanders because I wanted to start incorporating quinoa (which is a very small grain) into my cooking. Rinsing quinoa requires a fine mesh strainer and this is why I ordered this set, based on the product description listing "fine mesh." However, the mesh is what I would consider a standard size and the quinoa runs straight through. Oh well - the colanders themselves are very nice, just not what I was looking for.
Cons: not "fine mesh"

These Colanders are perfect. Berries, lettuces, herbs, veggies- it does them all. I like that the produce drains more quickly than in i.e. a stainless steel colander. PERFECT sizes for any job.
