Just slightly too small
August 20, 2014
I had a feeling this was going to happen since I didn't look at these in person. I added a bunch of these spice jars to my wedding registry because I have a ton of spices in my pantry & wanted to streamline the way that they look in there. The problem lies in that the spice jars are a bit smaller than the spices you buy in the grocery store which means that even when you empty them into these jars, you still have some leftover (which gets stored until you use it up). The jars themselves seem just fine. They all come with sturdy lids & the little caps w/ holes in them for shaking the spice out. Those caps are not hard to get off (I'm tired of breaking my nails trying to get those suckers off the grocery store jars). There were about 12 pre-made labels that came with the jars & 12 blank ones as well. The stickers gave me some fits. They didn't come off the paper nicely & some of them ripped. I tried to use a fine sharpie to write on the blank ones & they came out blurry.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Size

Good value & size

REALLy like these jars - orderd 2 sets and will order another. As some others have found, the lids are a bit "tricky" go get off and on. A larger, better selection of labels would be a great improvement - I had to order some on line since I have an extensive assortment of herbs & spices.
Cons: labels limited in number and variety

great organizer
April 3, 2012
I bought two sets and find that I need another set. Great way to organize spices with name on top of lid. Eliminates hassle of ruffling through different sizes and shapes to find the one you're looking for. Would certainly recommend them to a friend.
Pros: Easy to Clean, Size, Design
Cons: flimsy lids; not easy to screw on.
