This intensely flavorful olive oil brings the flavor of Sicily to the table. Manfredi Barbera, Sicily's master oil taster and producer, carefully selects the reserve olives to produce a perfectly balanced flavor with hints of fruit, spices and hints of almond. Cold-pressed from a blend of Biancolilla and Nocellara del Belice olives that are grown in the Sicilian mountains. Grown at 1,968 feet above sea level, the maximum elevation for growing olives, the fruit is exceptionally rich in flavor and healthful polyphenols. The oil is cold-pressed by continuous centrifugation, which maintains its healthful properties and results in an exceptionally low acidity level.
