Classic Provencal fabrics inspired the design, printed in the blue of the nearby Mediterranean. The quilted cotton place mats are soft and durable. They reverse to allover floral. I bought four of these six months ago and just came back for four more. These lovely large size place mats are a beautiful shade of french blue and are of a thick quilt so that I have no worries about spills. Washed very well on a gentle setting and laid them flat to dry.
