Love the look but not functional

I love the look of these taper candles and kept watching to see when William Sonoma would come out with some new holders.
Yes, finally these cute silver holders were available. Very expensive. But bit the bullet and treated myself for the Christmas decor table. When they arrived I liked the look but the holes are really too big for the candles. I have to drip melted wax into the hole and then hold on to the taper while it dries to make sure they stay in place,

READING THESE TWO REVIEWS-BOTH CLAIM THAT THE CANDLE HOLDERS ARE TOO LARGE FOR THE CANDLES- SO I WILL NOW PASS ON BUYING THE CANDLE HOLDERS.

I have two sets of other tiny taper candle holders from W-S -- ceramic and loved them. This set is pretty, but unlike the others that I have, these holder holes are too big and the candle flop out - not even close to fitting the tiny tapers that W-S sells. Sorry, but I will be returning these.
