Good for keeping champagne cold

My sister loves her champagne and this allows her to keep her bottle nearby and chilled. I don't know how long it keeps it cold, as the bottle never lasts long! The bottle needs to be chilled first, however, it doesn't chill it, but rather keeps it cold. So far, so good. I wonder if it keeps it cold outside in the warm weather, we'll see...
