KitchenAid Professional 12-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Nickel

Essentially three machines in one, this heavy-duty processor comes with a set of nesting work bowls in three capacities - 4-cup, 10-cup and 12-cup. This allows you to tackle tasks large and small without having to clean a work bowl in between. Finished with brushed nickel, the die-cast metal base houses a powerful motor, and an extra-wide feed tube minimizes the need to precut foods. Included is a complete accessory set, plus an accessory-storage box and a citrus press attachment that allows you to use the machine to make fresh juices. Three individually sized work bowls reduce prep time.Maximum 12-cup capacity.Includes blades, discs, dough blade, egg whip, spatula, storage box and citrus press attachment.8 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 16" high.

Beautiful Build
October 24, 2008
I have a tendency to hem and haw over any purchase, no matter how big or small, so when it came time to purchase a food processor, I took several trips - sometimes repeat trips - to various stores to review and try out the machines. Out of all of the food processors I looked at, the KitchenAid was the most nicely built, with a smooth mechanism for removing the cover, unlocking the bowl, etc. This is a useful, high-quality machine, much nicer than the other brands I looked at - including Cuisinart and Magimix.

Amazingly Quiet and Efficient
December 14, 2008
I was surprised at the helf of the Kitchen Aid and thought it was surprisingly easy to use and full of safety features so I had to follow the instructions to actually use it. I made a mixed herb pesto today and it was amazingly efficient and very quiet. I dimmed the lights in my house, but overall, I was impressed.

No complaints!

So far so good, made hash browns and couldn't believe how perfectly it shredded. I also made a flat bread dough because I wanted to see how the bread blade worked and it was wonderful. A real time saver! Easy to clean too! I cook every single day for my family and I plan to use this great machine all the time.

Great unit

I love the multiple bowls and large capacity. I recommend that you purchase the french fry blade, too. It 's great for making fresh salsa! Please note that you can only use the small bowl with the small chopping blade and the medium bowl can't be used with a chopping blade.
