Attractive and Well-Made

This kitchen helper is wonderful and is well made to grasp with ease. The forked tongs really secure spaghetti and keeps them clenched until you release the tong. The length is also a plus especially when reaching into a deep pot.. The color is great too, just like the color of pasta sauce. It fits easily in my kitchen drawer. It is made of silicone a material that I feel good about safely using with hot foods. It is a good weight and not flimsy.

A great multi-tasker

I have a very similar tong as this but without the scalloped pasta 'teeth' on it. I use it all the time for cooking since my other tongs that are all stainless will scratch some pots. This has the added advantage of grabbing hot spaghetti out of the pot, no easy task with most kitchen tools. It has a lock to keep the tongs closed in the drawer so they are compact when not in use. I also find another, albeit, unconventional use for this. Being only 5'4" I use it to grab items I can't reach on upper kitchen shelves! The rubber tips grab the items and hold onto it so I can take it down and again put it back. It's like an extension of my own arm. You can't go wrong with a multitasker like this for so little money!
