I own a set of "very good" kitchen knives, but was intrigued by the shape of the Shun Ken Onion knives in particular. It looked like it would be much easier on my wrist (it is!). I knew they were a step up from my current knives, but how much better could this knife be? Oh heavens - when I cut into that first raw carrot, it sent shivers up my spine - what pure pleasure to chop vegetables with such ease. What magic could make chopping carrots feel like cutting butter? I am now a fanantical convert and can't wait to expand my collection of Shun Ken Onion knives.
